I've just sent off the final files for the Pickled Pom logo, based on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. They'll be branding their preserves / sauces / jams in the coming weeks. Look out for them at Benchmark Restaurant in Peregian Springs, Australia.

Inspiration was taken from the view from the end of the garden here in France. I've given it a bit of summery feel, which is in stark contrast to the snow that's outside the window at the moment!

This painting is also a bit unique as it's the first time I've painted with Walnut Oil instead of Turps, as I'm pregnant and don't want to be breathing in fumes. Overall, I think the painting effect is very similar (if a little glossier?) and I'm sure I can live with the slightly longer drying time!

The final image shows how the tri suit company managed to make the vector images flow over all the panels (something which is very difficult to design on paper!). Looks great on the black background.
